Drinking and raw water tests, swimming and bath water test
As an accredited laboratory, the AWA Institute carries out chemical and chemo-physical tests for the parameters listed in the water regulations (e.g. drinking water ordinance, raw water ordinances). Our scope of services comprises the following parameter groups and measuring methods :
Parameter groups:
- general chemical parameters
- heavy metals
- anions
- cations
- dissolved gases
- organic sum parameters, for example Adsorbable Organohalogenes (AOX), Total Organic Carbon (TOC) etc.
- organic trace analytics, for example pesticides, Volatile Organic Carbons (VOC), PAK etc.
Measuring methods :
- chromatography (gas, liquid, ions)
- atomic absorption spectrometry (flame, graphite tube, hydride technology)
- ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry)
- photometry
- flow injection systems
- gravimetry
- titrimetry
- coulometry
- electro-chemical methods
