Drinking and raw water tests, swimming and bath water test

As an accredited laboratory, the AWA Institute carries out chemical and chemo-physical tests for the parameters listed in the water regulations (e.g. drinking water ordinance, raw water ordinances). Our scope of services comprises the following parameter groups and measuring methods :

Parameter groups:

  • general chemical parameters
  • heavy metals
  • anions
  • cations
  • dissolved gases
  • organic sum parameters, for example Adsorbable Organohalogenes (AOX), Total Organic Carbon (TOC) etc.
  • organic trace analytics, for example pesticides, Volatile Organic Carbons (VOC), PAK etc.

Measuring methods :

  • chromatography (gas, liquid, ions)
  • atomic absorption spectrometry (flame, graphite tube, hydride technology)
  • ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry)
  • photometry
  • flow injection systems
  • gravimetry
  • titrimetry
  • coulometry
  • electro-chemical methods
